Hants Realty Limited was founded in 1977 by Larry Matthews. The company has evolved from a one man operation to a diversified business offering many services. In June 1986 Profit Magazine rated Hants Realty Limited as the 47th fastest growing company in Canada in their Top 100 ratings. The Municipality of East Hants awarded Hants Realty Limited with a certificate of recognition on the companies 25th anniversary for providing the residents of East Hants with quality real estate services. The Nova Scotia Legislature passed a resolution acknowledging the success of Hants Realty Limited. This motion was brought forward by the Honorable John MacDonell our current MLA and Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources for the Province of Nova Scotia.
